Health and Safety V1
Introduction
The
Health and Safety as applicable to the hired premises apply. All students and
their parents should read all safety notices regularly and check all fire exits
and the routes to fire exits in the event of fire.
The
Health and Safety aspects of the premises hired by Baoyin Oriental Dance are the
responsibility of the premises owner or management. Baoyin has Public Liability
Insurance cover but each student is encouraged to purchase his or her own
personal accidents insurance cover (this is standard practice).
The following rules are intended
to safeguard students:-
- Students
less than 18 years should not open or close windows (an adult will be
present to carry this out).
- Students
should not interfere with the heating system, lighting system , audio and
video equipment and any other equipment
- Students
may not sit on the wall or on rails in or out of the dance studio.
- Students
may not play in or out of the dance studio.
- In
the case of student less than 18 years, except in exceptional
circumstances and with permission, no medicines may be brought into dance
class and the taking of medicines brought into class must come with
written instruction from the relevant parent or guardian and its
consumption is overseen by an adult having read and understood the
instructions.
- The
use of water bottle must not spill water on the dance floor.
- Students
must carry a towel to wipe sweat away thus minimising wetness on the dance
floor.
- Wearing
of unsuitable jewellery and accessories will not be allowed.
- Wearing
of unsuitable clothing and shoes that may cause injury is the
responsibility of the adult or the parent of a child.
- No
child may leave the dance studio unless supervised.
- No
food and drinks are allowed in the dance studio except for bottles of
water.
