Introduction
Baoyin Oriental Dance is focussed in the dance arts and dancer joins for the same reason.
Baoyin Oriental Dance may exclude a student in the event of breach of any one
of the following. No refund is possible in this event.
Principles
- Behaviour with Baoyin Oriental Dance should be
based on care, consideration and courtesy, this applies to the students
and to those (adults) accompanying the students to class.
- All students are expected to maintain a creditable
standard of behaviour and should listen to each other and encourage others
in their learning and development. All students are required to the
re-admitted each term under the Admission Policy. In serious or continual
breach of this Code of Conduct the student may be suspended from lesson
(in writing).
- No student should use unsuitable language.
- All students are expected to arrive on time.
- Absence of leave should be in writing or by
e-mail and should be given at least a week’s notice and avoid be given on
the day of the lesson if it could be done before ( dance group planning
work is done in advance).
- The premises used are on hire and students are
expected to look after the environment, and equipment.
- Do not drop litter or damage equipment.
- Students should wear appropriate dance wear and
non-marking clean shoes.
- No chewing (gum) is allowed in class ( impact
artistic facial expression )
- Food and drink is not allowed in the dance
studio. Water bottle is permissible.
- No students (and their parents) should claim choreography
or parts of it learnt from Baoyin Oriental Dance are of their own creation
and production.
- If there is an issue the student and/or his/her
parent should follow the Complaints Procedure for Students.
